Monday - Day Four

I think these girls are scared of nothing.....this ride basically shot you up and down several times.....we are almost at the very top here and as you can see, they are both still waving while we are both holding on!!!

Sunday - Day Three

After lunch Sunday afternoon the girls got to enjoy these cheesy, but rather expensive, rides in the mall.....

Saturday - Day Two

So, we have arrived

Well, we left at 6:30 Thursday night and drove alllllllllll night. We got to Martinsville about 5:15 Friday morning.  The kids have taken to Uncle Chris and Aunt Danielle in no time!!!  Friday was pretty much a recovery day so just a couple lazy day pics.

A Longggggggggg Time Comin'

Waring.....we will be on the hiatus for a while.......We left last night heading to Virginia to visit Uncle Chris & Aunt Danielle.  These couple of pics were from our first vacation together all the way back in April 2006.  We have missed them dearly and have FINALLY gotten the opportunity to go see them this time.  I will be taking my laptop with me so I HOPE to maybe get some pictures loaded from the trip while we are gone!!  But, if not, we will be back on June 7th!!!

The Best Gifts.....Ever

This shot was taken the night of my 32nd Birthday.  I can truly say, they are the two best gifts EVER.  They are the sunshine in my days.

Her New Favorite Thing

I know there will be a few of you that are not going to be so excited about this one, BUT the girl has fallin in LOVE with riding on daddy's motorcycle!!!

Daddy's Girl

My mom and I took the girls to Pier Park Mother's Day weekend......and my Tori..........not such a huge fan of rides that go in circles!!!  Their daddy surprised them (and me) by coming out there toward the end of the day.  So Miss Tori got to be daddy's girl for a little bit while Taylor and I rode the airplanes and ferris wheel ohhhhh about 10 times!!!

So the other day Danielle asked if the girls were excited that we are coming to see them.  I told Taylor to tell Auntie Amber how big the water park is we are going to when we get there........and this was her response!!!  She is TOTALLY excited!!!

Oh So Sweet

So Taylor has joined the whole blogging thing....EVERYDAY.....she asks me to take her picture now!!!  Boy, what have I gotten myself into?

By the way, if anyone is interested I have a client (at custom stitches) who teaches a digital photo class.  It will start (I believe) Monday June 14 and be 3 Monday nights in a row.  Its only $65.  I am SERIOUSLY thinking about taking it so I can learn not only what my camera can do, but how in the world I can get it to do it!!!!

Tori "Bug's" Birthday

Our Tori "Bug" turned two recently and I had found the cutest little lady bug decor so she got this lovely little lady bug cake for her birthday....hand made by her mother!!!  I'm not very creative, but I sure enjoy making these cakes.

Look at this little doll.....check out the shirt Auntie Amber made for her.  It was an exact replica of the lady bug on the decor!!!

And just for grins.....this was Tori on her 1st Birthday.  Amazing isn't it!!

As goofy as she normally is, I can not believe some of the beautiful shots I have gotten of her lately!! She melts my heart.

Mother's Day 2010

To all who know "us"....you will laugh!!  Tori was sick the morning of Mother's Day so her daddy stayed home with her so Taylor and I could go to church.  I was amazed when I returned home and Tori met me in the garage, dressed, with her hair done????  To start with, I was impressed with that alone....I was expecting nothing more than her to be running around in panties!!  So I walked in the house to find this beautiful bouquet of (my favorite) YELLOW roses!! (Which explains why Tori was dressed.....)

Followed by this oh so true card!!!

FINALLY!!!

So my usually silly faced Tori was so proud of her new dress that Nana bought her for her Birthday that she actually took a pretty picture for Nana!!!  I'm in shock!!

Beauty

Somehow I was able to snag this beauty on our Mother's Day trip to Carrabba's.  She takes my breath away!!

Fair? Hardly!!

Beware, this one is picture intensive!!!  So a week or two ago, there was this "fair" at the mall.  Everytime we went by there Taylor wanted to ride the ferris wheel.  So I had this bright idea to take the girls there one day after work.  We asked Taylor's friend Haley (from "school") to go with us.  So we get there and OH MY GOODNESS what a rip off!!!  But, we were there now!!!  So we purchased tickets and truthfully they didn't know any better and they had a GREAT time.

Tori's first roller coaster...she was so excited she was trying hard to climb in all by herself.....a tad different story once it got going!!!

Taylor on the other had was having a ball..........check her out in the front car all by herself!!

And then there was this.....we saw this at the REAL fair a while back and Taylor had NO desire to ride on it then.  But, her cousin Justin wanted to ride so I guess she was being brave and wanted to ride too.  I, don't want to hold them back from anything so I just smiled and said OK.  I wish this was a video to give the full effect.  It's a small oval track where on the straight part it moves rather slowly..........and then, when you get to the corner it litterally slings you around at a rather high rate of speed.  At the very first corner, she got rather scared to death, but her dad basically was cheering her on and boy did she perk up.  She ended up LOVING this ride!!

The Many Strange Faces

I'm not trying to be too partial here.......but man, we have some beautiful girls!!

Poor Tori fell TWICE while running at school the other day and skinned up her nose and her chin.

Tori is usually the loon.....but this time, Taylor joined in on the fun!
