Staycation : Day 3

Well....day 3 was forecast to be a 60% chance of rain starting around noon.

So we decided to head to my bosses house to the "free" pool instead of paying to get in somewhere....just to then be run off by the rain...

So we got there....and it was BEAUTIFUL....we ordered lunch....still no rain....Tori and I drove all the way to the church to drop off food....came back.....still no rain....not even a cloud in the sky

We eventually made ourselves get ready to go....and it was off to Wonder Works for the evening.

The girls eventually got tired, but they had soooo much fun.

I know two little girls who are sooooo in love with Uncle Chris

I bet Uncle Chris was sooooo worn out and ready to leave the pool...Taylor not so much, but Tori....had to have jumped at least 100 times....whether he was looking or not!!!!

Whether he was ready or not....it didn't matter....she was jumping anyways!!!

Ahhhhh what a wonderful life!!

Staycation : Day 2

Got off on the road with a HUGE rain storm....headed to Gulf World.

Less than 5 minutes from the entrance it stopped raining and NEVER rained again!!

It was a beautiful day and the girls LOVED it.

 

Followed by the most wonderful steak at Long Horns!!

   

Staycation : Day 1

Monday took us to Big Kahuna's.  We had a great time as the weather held out for us all day.  We followed up with dinner at the Mellow Mushroom....and if you have never tried it.....I HIGHLY suggest trying the Hot Potato Pie....it was soooooo good.

I am sooooo glad that today....Tori was back to herself and enjoying the water park

     

I think Sis. Stacy said Presley was tired....but I really think she was the one looking for a nap!!

Not sure how this happened...but Tori does NOT like pizza...and with no kids menu...I went with the only other option on the menu.....meatballs.....wasn't sure how that would go over???
    

But to my very pleasant surprise....they were wonder and Tori LOVED them....there were four huge ones....and she ate EVERY last bit of them
